Surf Zone Clinics For Surf, WW, SOT And Sea Kayaks

These clinics being held Aug 13th & 14th at Hobuck Beach, WA. are designed for the kayaker who is interested in learning to surf their choice of kayak (surf kayak, sit-on-top, whitewater kayak or sea kayak) safely or to safely paddle out, approach and land their kayak in surf zone conditions.  Clinics are scheduled as three hour blocks focused on introducing students to the specific skills needed to enjoy paddling in the near shore surf environment.

WKC Coastal Clinic 2016

The Washington Kayak Clucb (WKC) is offering a very special Sea Kayaking Clinic being lead by Rhonda Schwab, and Mike Germani. This is a 4-day Coastal Kayaking Clinic, Thursday through Sunday.  It introduces the skills required to experience the beautiful, remote, and challenging waters of Washington State and Vancouver Island’s open coastline.  The clinic is at Neah/Makah Bay and is designed to improve sea kayaking skills and confidence, which will lead to increased enjoyment of your sea kayaking experience.

Wilderness Camping Class June 23-26

The class is a great environment to develop and expand your current Sea Kayaking skills and judgment.  In this class, you will learn efficient paddling and boat handling technique, effective capsize recovery skills and correct bracing techniques, which includes a new section Wilderness Camping.

SSTIKS 2016

SSTIKS will be held June 10-12th 2016 and is a family friendly weekend event featuring some of the best instructors and competitors in Greenland-style kayaking. The children’s track is an important part of the weekend and it’s also what sets them apart from the usual kayak events. Beginners to advanced paddlers and rollers will find new challenges and build new skills.
