Surf Zone Clinics For Surf, WW, SOT And Sea Kayaks
These clinics being held Aug 13th & 14th at Hobuck Beach, WA. are designed for the kayaker who is interested in learning to surf their choice of kayak (surf kayak, sit-on-top, whitewater kayak or sea kayak) safely or to safely paddle out, approach and land their kayak in surf zone conditions. Clinics are scheduled as three hour blocks focused on introducing students to the specific skills needed to enjoy paddling in the near shore surf environment.
You will learn how to launch and land safely, how to surf the paddle craft of your choice, and learn safety and rescues techniques for the surf zone. Highly qualified and experienced ACA certified instructors will provide individualized training at all skill levels in both group and one-on-one settings in your personal kayak. Choose one three hour training session or several depending on your personal schedule and goals. Advanced skills can be taught as students progress.
