Open Surf Kayak Clinic

Learn how to launch and land safely, how to surf the paddle craft of your choice, and learn safety and rescues techniques for the surf zone.  Highly qualified and experienced ACA certified instructors will provide individualized training at all skill levels in both group and one-on-one settings in your personal kayak.  Choose one day of training or two depending on your personal schedule.

The surf zone is an amazing environment for developing many kayaking skills at once and it can be a fun place to learn!  Improve bracing, balance and edging skills and progress in stroke proficiency. You will learn new techniques for reading moving water and have opportunities to practice the skills in a supportive environment.  For more advanced paddlers, begin to learn, improve or refine surfing maneuvers and skills.
