My name is Jason Learned and welcome to "Northwest Paddling", an online resource for paddling in the Pacific Northwest.

I started paddling in 2009 after purchasing my first boat. I am currently a BCU 4 Star Leader and an ACA L4 Open Water Sea Kayak Instructor.

My hope is that the info on this site allows you to have a safe and enjoyable time on the water.
