The Puget Sound extends south from the east entrance of the Straits of Juan de Fuca all the way to Olympia.

Suquamish to Fay Bainbridge State Park

This information is designed to provide basic information to help you in choosing appropriate paddle trips for your level of experience. The information may be old and outdated and I would encourage you to use several resources when a trip in unfamiliar areas. As always you are responsible for the safe operation and navigation of your own vessel. Happy Paddling!

  • On this paddle I launch from Suquamish and cross over to Agate Point. From Agate Point I cross the bay to Hedley Spit and round the point to Fay Bainbridge Park where there are bathroom facilities and shelters to duck into to get out of any inclement weather. After a short break I head back rounding Hedley Spit and follow the shoreline in to Hidden Cove to paddle around treasurer island before heading back to Suquamish for food and drinks!
