Olympic Peninsula Paddlers (OPP) is a club for sea kayakers, white water paddlers, rafters, canoeists and any other paddle-powered watercraft. We are a diverse group united by our love of paddling. Our membership ranges from persons just beginning in the sport to experts in Greenland-style rolling and in surf kayaking; from members looking to purchase their first boat to those that have built their own stitch-and-glue or skin-on-frame kayak.
We hold monthly club meetings from September through June. We have monthly club paddles each month of the year except December, when we have our club Christmas party. Monthly pool sessions are held eight times a year to practice your skills or learn new ones. One group of our membership paddles Port Angeles Harbor early every Friday morning, while another conducts paddles across the Olympic Peninsula each Monday.

WAKE is a non-profit social kayaking organization based in Bellingham, WA, open to any adult who wants to paddle in the Pacific Northwest. Our focus is sea kayaking, however, we do have many whitewater kayakers as members. Because paddling conditions in the Pacific Northwest are typically cold and fickle, WAKE emphasizes safety in all sponsored events: trainings, occasional day paddles and trips, and monthly meetings with speakers addressing all aspects of paddling.
